Things liked least - Written and OSCE
- Could have done more teaching on common medical conditions. Response; we get this every year (see previous feedback). The course assumes baseline knowledge of the common stuff and does not aim to rescue those who have done little preparation. Unfortunately rare conditions are over represented in medical examinations - you might as well get used to it. Sorry.
- Lunch! Response; A frequent complaint this year. Harrogate catering was very poor - sorry. We did complain. This will not happen again.
- Copies of slides. Response; Sorry not possible.
- Location. Response; Sorry, the last minute change to Harrogate in 2007 was due to circumstances beyond our control. We had booked the Clarendon wing lecture theatre well ahead, however it became suddenly unavailable (enough said) 1 week before the course. Harrogate were very good to step in; thanks very much to all who helped out at Harrogate DGH.
- More ECG examples and explanations. Response; OK
- Slow down. Response; Another perennial issue, sorry we do try and get lots done.
